Automatic egg tray making machine 4 sides rotary drum model working principle as below:
1. Paper Pulp Preparation & Supply
· The process starts with recycled paper (e.g., old newspapers, cartons) being mixed with water in a hydra-pulper to create a uniform pulp slurry.
· This slurry is pumped into a dedicated stock tank, which continuously supplies the forming section of the machine.
2. Forming Stage (On the Rotary Drum Egg Tray Molding Machine)
· The four-sided rotary drum egg tray molding machine is the heart of the machine. Each of its four faces contains multiple sets of negative mold cavities in the shape of egg trays.
· As the drum rotates slowly, one face immerses itself in the pulp slurry tank.
· Simultaneously, a vacuum system is applied to the submerged mold. This suction draws water through the small holes in the mold, causing the paper fibers to accumulate on the mold's surface and form a wet egg tray preform.
3. Transfer Stage (Precise Hand-off)
· After the forming stage, the drum rotates the wet tray preform out of the slurry tank.
· At a precise position, a transfer mold (typically a matching positive mold) aligns perfectly with the rotary drum mold.
· The transfer mold applies a stronger vacuum or a slight air pressure to pick up the wet tray from the rotary mold. This step is crucial for transferring the fragile, wet preform to the next stage without deformation.

5. Hot Pressing & Cooling (Optional for Smooth Trays)
For high-quality, smooth, and dimensionally accurate egg trays, the dried trays may pass through a hot press machine. Here, they are pressed between two heated metal molds to calibrate their shape and create a smooth surface.
6. Stacking and Packaging
Finally, the finished, cooled egg trays are automatically counted, stacked, and bundled for storage or shipment.
